We are currently seeking full time Laborers with potential for advancement and growth with the company.
The Construction Laborer will perform tasks involving physical labor at underground projects.
Operate hand and power tools of all types.
Clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, clean up rubble and debris.
Responsibilities:
The individual must be consistently at work on time, follow instructions, respond to management direction, commit to reach goals and complete tasks on time or propose an alternative plan to the appropriate person.
Observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly.
Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement and adjustment of machinery, equipment and materials.
Tend pumps, compressors and generators to provide power for tools, machinery and equipment.
Lubricate and clean machinery, equipment and tools.
Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
Control traffic passing near, in and around work zone.
Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations and compact and level earth to grade specifications.
Load, unload and identify building materials, machinery and tools and distribute them to appropriate locations, according to project plans and specifications.
Measure, mark distances to lay out areas where construction work will be performed.
Raise structures and salvage useful materials.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED preferred, and ten or more years' experience in the construction industry.
Heavy Civil and General Construction experience.
Experience with subcontractors and self-perform work.
Excellent organizational, team management, problem solving, motivational skills.
Computer literacy, ability to learn to use various computer programs.
Possession of a valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
Solid written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to develop solutions to complex problems and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.
Ability to thrive and multi-task in fast paced, changing environment with a can-do attitude.
We operate Monday-Friday with some Saturday's.
The ideal candidate should be available to work 40
hours per week.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
