Position
Summary:
Provide a clear vision of the company mission to restaurant team members assuring all are clear on tasks to achieve and expected executionResponsible for the appearance of operation each day (prior, during, and post-closing)Meets and exceeds all standards for operationsProvide an ongoing daily presence in the operation, interacting with guests, FOH and BOH staff and peer managers.
Primary Duties and
Responsibilities:
Promotes superior guest service.
Maintains and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tlcn and the Core Values of ilani.
Assures cleanliness in all areas of restaurant and around perimeter.
Document and administer all discounts, voids, comps, and transactions.
Leads, directs, and manages all FOH staff as it relates to hiring, discipline, training and coaching.
Communicate with other FOH and BOH managers daily as needed to review all parts of the business operation.
Ensure that all company policies are adhered to and maintained.
Provide top leadership regarding representing the brand to guests.
Ensure that all personnel matters and documentation are professionally handled and coordinated with the Restaurant Managers, Restaurant Operations Manager and HR.
Ensure safe and sanitary food practices, including compliance with all Health Department regulations as it relates to BOH and FOH operations.
Order beverage items as needed and directed by the Restaurant Manager (s) and Restaurant Operations Manager.
Write shift reports after every shift accurately and fully detailing all restaurant business as outline by the Restaurant Operations Manager and email said reports to the Restaurant Management Team, Director of Food & Beverage, and ilani Assistant General Manager.
Attend all necessary management meetings.
Review and maintain accurate FOH Kronos timekeeping punches for all FOH staff.
Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
Any other duties as requested by the Restaurant Manager and/or Assistant Manager(s).
Minimum
Qualifications:
High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.
Three (3) years' supervisory experience in a high-volume style restaurant.
Previous experience in MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook computer programs.
Two (2) years' Toast, Micros, or similar POS experience.
Flexible schedule including late nights, weekends, early mornings, and all holidays and department blackout/high volume days.
Ability to lift 50 lb.
Strong wine, beer, cocktail, and food knowledge.
Proven and proficient positive leadership skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong financial accountability skills.
Available 40-50 hours per week depending on business need and flow.
Ability to be on your feet for up to 10-hour shifts.
Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.
Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
