Convention Services Attendant

Responsibilities:
Provides superior guest service.
Maintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tl cn and the Core Values of ilani.
Correctly and efficiently sets up and breaks down all functions related to events in Meeting and Entertainment Center and off-site events according to the banquet event order.
Keeps meeting space and BOH storage areas clean and organized.
Maintains familiarity with the various types of workable setups for each function room.
Has working knowledge of A/V equipment and assists A/V person/guest as needed.
Transports and stores tables, chairs, and other equipment.
Maintains security of equipment, keys, and supplies issues each day.
Corrects and/or reports unsafe conditions or equipment immediately to a supervisor.
Maintains constant awareness of safety and accident prevention and ensures that all team members are properly trained in safety policies and procedures.
Assists guests whenever possible, referring all requests which are beyond scope of responsibility immediately to supervisor; responds to requests from guests, supervisors, or management in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum
Qualifications:
High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills with an emphasis on having an eye for detail.
Must be able to understand and consistently deliver brand standard.
Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours, including evenings, nights, weekends (Fridays - Sundays), holidays, and overtime as needed.
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and move around during entire shift.
Must be able to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
Must possess a valid Driver's License.
Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.
Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
