Position
Summary:
The incumbent in this position is responsible for system administration, server support, application installation and overall systems health.
The Senior Systems Administrator will work closely with other Systems Administrators, Security Specialist, Technical Services Specialists, the Business Services team and the Network Administrator to provide cohesive and team-driven solutions and strategies against a complex and growing server and application-centric environment.
The Senior Systems Administrator will be required to have direct, long-term experience with the following technologies:
Required:
VMWare Application server support and deployment Windows server administration Server OS patch management Data backup system management Basic networking concepts IIS administration Remote access methodologies Automation scripting (PowerShell / VB) Command line (PowerShell CLI / cmdlets) DNS / DHCP Microsoft domain management File & print services AD and ADFS Additionally, there are many technologies that this position must have exposure to, and in-depth experience is preferred:
Database server management Linux server administration Cisco networking experience Network load balancing Work Shift:
