Position
Summary:
This Revenue Audit Specialist is responsible for the continued development and implementation of gaming audits and related training of auditors as well as daily gaming audit review completion.
Primary Duties and
Responsibilities:
Promotes superior guest service.
Maintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tl cn and the Core Values of ilani.
Works with department leadership to identify audit opportunity areas and develop solutions.
Assists Revenue Audit Supervisor in drafting standard operating procedures related to the audit of gaming revenues.
Works with the Revenue Audit Supervisor to identify training needs and to develop training outlines and course content.
Assists in the maintenance and content creation of gaming audit checklists and audit standards.
Identifies inherent and residual slot gaming system risks and conducts complex research and data analysis to ensure slot revenue and vendor reporting accuracy.
Applies developed gaming knowledge to solve complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate action and/or alternatives.
Stays abreast of leading practices in gaming auditing procedures, accounting regulations, governmental regulations, and internal control procedures.
Works with internal and external shareholders to incorporate business-related changes into audit plans.
Communicates and collaborates with responsible parties to correct system and/or reporting errors.
Selects or develops training tools, such as handbooks, guides, visual aids, and tutorials.
Conducts training sessions covering audit procedures and related activities.
Performs non-gaming audit related assignments as needed.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Two-year degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.
Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Three years' experience in casino revenue audit, preferably as a Revenue Audit Lead.
Prior experience documenting and drafting standard operating procedures.
