Position
Summary:
The Audiovisual System Tech is responsible for the AV systems and backend solutions support for all property AV solutions.
The qualified candidate must have a strong understanding of AV and the technology associated with the delivery of the solutions.
A strong IP networking and client server understand is required as most solutions ride on an IP network.
The ideal candidate will have a mix of both technical IT knowledge as well as AV solutions.
Primary Duties and
Responsibilities:
Promote superior guest service.
Maintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tl cn and the Core Values of ilani.
Perform in a client facing environment with a high level of customer care.
Maintain and troubleshoot IP TV solutions.
Maintain and troubleshoot Crestron System environment.
Develops solutions and maintains Four Winds environment.
Routes and delivers music throughout the property.
Works with Direct TV provider to ensure content lineup is correct and deliverable Works with hotel IP TV solutions.
Works as part of a team including Network, Systems and AV Production Techs to deliver solutions that support our operation.
Works with Wayfinding solutions.
Works with Marquee signs.
Setup and schedule programming in conjunction with Marketing and operations.
Works with switching systems in conjunction with our Networking team.
Onsite tech support for IP TV, Audio, Digital Signage, Venue AV, Hotel AV, and Meeting spaces.
Works with MS Teams and Zoom to ensure meeting room integration and supports in house meetings utilizing that technology.
Setup and maintain in house QSC's q-sys system.
Responsible for Sportsbook video wall technical functions.
Lead setup and maintenance of the media server content delivery systems.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Associates degree in Information Technology, Audio Engineering, or a related field and three (3) years of experience as an AV Technician OR High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD) and five (5) years of progressive Audiovisual or IT support experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Network
or higher equivalent certification.
Demonstrated strong troubleshooting skills.
Strong understanding of IP protocols utilized in IP TV.
Demonstrated understanding of switching technologies.
Technical knowledge of multimedia presentation software.
Technical knowledge of protocols such as DMX, Dante, and general networking skills.
Hands-on AV equipment troubleshooting experience.
Strong ability to effectively communicate and work as part of a diverse technical team.
Self-motivated and directed, keen attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving abilities and able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Demonstrated knowledge of how systems integrate, and protocols needed to move packets efficiently across a network.
Ability to operate tools, components, and peripheral accessories.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Requires weekend and shift work including some early mornings and late nights Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
